2022-04-28

  • Re-uploaded DVD-001 because the video was cutting off just before the end. It appears to be fixed now.

2022-04-05

  • Added cassette tapes OU680412 and OU690522. I digitized these recordings during my visit to the Ohio University Music Library in Jan 2021. Since these recordings were not part of David’s collection, I’m using the library’s naming scheme. I have 9 additional digitized tapes from that Jan visit to upload, but it will take some time to edit and prepare them. After all have been uploaded, I plan to go back to OU and digitize some more recordings.

2022-04-04

  • Completely replaced the WordPress Gallery with FooGallery on the Audio Recordings page. Now the images load faster thanks to lazy loading and I’m able to delete a bunch of duplicate images that were required for the WordPress Gallery.
  • Added REEL-023 to the audio recordings page because it was missing.

2022-02-15

  • Updated Home page to remove full obituary and replaced it with text written by Aaron Lewis and myself adapted from the obituary, along with some additional images.
  • Updated the All Audio Recordings page to include REEL-023 as it was missing.
  • Updated this Changelog page to use a 70/30 split column instead of 50/50.

  • Added this Changelog page and included it on the sidebar.
  • Added dates provided to me by Aaron Lewis for CASS-010 and also added Holly Miller’s name as Clarinetist on Side B. As a result, I moved this cassette from the misc. page to the 1990s page.
  • Fixed a typo made known to me by Aaron Lewis on CASS-008
  • Fixed an error in the obituary on the Homepage, published in The Clarinet magazine. The obituary did not mention David’s other sister Mildred, so I’ve added a footnote. This was made known to me by Gail Lewis.

  • Uploaded DVD provided to me by Marty Lewis of a 1991 class taught by David Lewis DVD-001
  • Nested the 16mm film reel and the DVD under a new menu named “Video Recordings”, since there’s now more than 1 video.

  • Updated title of REEL-002 to read “GRC” instead of “GRE” based on the spine.

  • Updated REEL-004 and CASS-007 as Aaron Lewis figured out they’re the same performance.
