Notes: Based on the insert, I’m fairly confident this is David Lewis performing, however, it’s not explicitly stated. I’m unable to find a program from Ohio University, and I think that’s because this may have been a practice session recorded with a handheld tape recorder, and you’ll notice there’s no applause or crowd noise, but it sounds as if it’s being performed in an OU auditorium.
I have not included the May 14, 1986 performance with Tu Song on Clarinet and Shiang Shin-en on Piano, since that’s clearly not David Lewis performing, however if anyone is interested, I can send a copy to anyone who requests.
