Notes: I’m not sure if this is David Lewis on the Clarinet performing in the SSO recordings, but the playing style sounds the same, and it was recorded during a year when he was in Singapore. I have fair certainty the piano improvisations on Side B are him. I’ll need to do some more research to see if I can find any paper records or concert programs regarding the SSO performance as they aren’t readily available online.
I’m basing the date off of CASS-037 and CASS-038 where the former contains the identical Don Juan recording with the same radio announcer with a date written on that tape of October 2, 1984.
